New York Comic con got 151,000 visitors last year (even more than the "real" Comic con in San Diego_4,000 is roughly two trains worth. but, it still proves wally wrong. His original assertion was that if what Brian says is true, then the ridership numbers would remain low for the first three days at the new station. If this event draws a crowd, if anything, it proves me right, there will be load. The station is designed for thousands of people an hour all day long. It's real capacity will be very much under used for the first year or two. It won't get to it's true peak load until those towers start to open and people start coming and going full time. that was my main point in the on topic department before he started on his ranting and raving. |
