My friend Clippy (real name Clippit) was turned off as a default in XP, and has pretty much been gone since Office 2000. Cloying perhaps, but obnoxious is unfairly harsh. But Cortana (Cortina was a crappy car built by Ford in England)is really meant to compete with Siri from Apple. I can't believe I even typed this, I must have been out in the sun too long today. |
