This isn't regular service but it's interesting... I've been on a 5 rerouted to the west side IRT due to a service disruption, and it changed itself to a 2 train at 135th. Granted the terminal is the same, and it would run local in Brooklyn, but it made me do a double-take. I feel that those of us that ride the IRT in Manhattan are used to seeing the 2 on the 5 or vice versa already. |
