I thought the subway portion under Raymond Blvd. was also built in the old canal bed, but covered over by the new roadway all the way to the then new Penn Station (which was completed in 1937).Rode the NCS PCC's all day on last day in August 2001. Got to see alot of cool stuff that wasn't part of the closing day festivities. |
