Yup....I remember it well....the port Jeff line used to be the LIRRs premiere commuter line till early 90s.... It did get cannibalized.As for Me Village, yes....they were/are asking ridiculous rents in New Village....like its Manhattan or something, and that doesn't include all the extras added on rent. Parking per car, separate garbage charge, etc, etc. They don't realize this is Patchogue, not the city |
