Astoria is a very desirable neighborhood today. Nobody wants to have an el built and running where they live. Several other options have been given here before. My plan is to tie into the IND Northern Blvd express tracks before it meets with the local tracks at Broadway. From a point west of the this intersection, continue a tunnel under Northern Blvd, turn north on 69th St, and go under the BQE. Run under the small park between St Michael's Cemetery/BQE to Astoria Blvd North to LGA.
