There's supposed to be a superintendent with the crew, a "manager" if you will, but it's the power department at the MTA that's supposed to remove and restore power. There are panic switches just outside the stations as well on the tracks that can trip the power as well and there's supposed to be 600 volt monitors on the third rail, attached to it that are supposed to alarm if power is restored.BIG fail here. :( |
