From what I recall, there were mainly R27/30's on the Nassau RR with the white lettering on black signs. A few times I may have seen R-32s or 42s with the green RR on the front ends.

When the B/D Southern lines ran on Bway during a Manhattan Bridge closure, they had yellow signs for what was their "regular" routes for a couple of years. Same with orange signed Q trains via 6 Ave for another part of the Bridge closure.
