In all seriousness though, trains have been a target for ne'er-do-wells across the planet. Just because there isn't a shoe basket or a free government grope doesn't mean that the trains aren't being watched and sniffed for potential ne'er-do-wells here. Plenty of feds riding the trains and watching, just doing it on the down low.All I can point out is that a few potential terrorist incidents were already thwarted, and done so quite quietly. Anyone who's ever ridden Amtrak across a border can tell you how stealthy they can be. :) But yeah, let's do the government grope thing instead. When you get older, it can be fun. :) |
