Maybe more deregulation, because all of US liberal regulation with respect to railroads favors diesel-electric.You of course mean "liberal" in the sense of not particularly strict, right? Because the EPA's standards for locomotives are absolutely laughable and it'd make you look like an enormous fool completely disconnected from reality if you somehow had convinced yourself that LESS regulation might mean the freight railroads would electrify. |
