First, you would have to make every platform in the system uniform before you can even think of that.Second, you have to have every car in the system be uniform to do it. Another reason why I would do 67-foot cars. Doing that would be part of a super long-term plan to eventually have ALL stations (in the B division) by 670 feet in length (10 67-foot car trains), which would allow for platform doors. |
