Great vintage IND sign in the above photo. What year was it taken?The date is Sept. 1975, photo by Edward P. McKernan. If you all look closely at the sign, just beneath the Independant letters. that portion of the sign was painted over and the peeling paint seems to reveal the name Roosevelt Ave ! Bill Newkirk |
