Same here, and I'm still not that far from it, but seldom go down to Bway or Kent anymore.Some friends were sharing photos on FB today of their time living in the lofts on Bway in the 80's, and I was thinking of showing them the Bway Ferry spur photo to really blow their minds. The trolley tracks, especially the layover track next to the curb, were still showing through the pavement on Bway back then and there was a stump of elevated attached to one of the buildings around Roebling/Lee, and of course the rings of rusted stumps where the overhead line poles were cut flush to the slate sidewalks. All gone now. |
