Not only that but as part of the Dekalb realignment, the Dekalb platforms were extended north and a new entrance built that was close enough to the old Myrtle Av (Gold St) station that Myrtle Av station was rendered redundant. The situation was similar to the elimination of 91/Bway by the new entrance at 96 St and Worth St by the extension of Bkln Br station north.
