There seems to be some controversy over whether the station was actually ever called "Gold St" in actual service or had already been changed to Myrtle Av by the time it opened. In any event, the BMT road personnel always referred to it as "Gold St" and even in the current timetable editor program, the timepoint is listed as "Gold St" even though the model board in the old Gold St tower was labeled "Myrtle Avenue interlocking" and that portion of the present Dekalb Av model board also refers to it as "Myrtle Av." |
