So, as unfortunate as the loss of service into Downtown Jamaica was in 1977, there was no need for the loss to continue for 11 years...they COULD have provided service as early as '83 or '84....Wow- I had no idea. I first read something of this line in 1985, but I didn't realize that all it needed was the will to operate it. |
