Suburban office parks and mass transit rarely go together, usually because they're not built near railways. Another wonderful design flaw of our country. Either way, I'm of the belief that Amtrak should be running a line from Harrisburg via Allentown to NYC. This could cover Phillipsburg, but in a perfect world NJTransit would operate service to Allentown as well. I think any express run making only a couple of stops after Phillipsburg (Raritan, Newark) would beat the bus. |
