Weren't NJT's rules too complicated? On MetroNorth and the LIRR you have to pay peak fare if you ride a peak train.I ride NJT in the evening occasionally. If I remember correctly I could buy an off-peak round trip ticket in New York and use it on an evening peak train to New Jersey but someone who bought an off-peak ticket in New Jersey could not use the return half on an evening peak train. |
