Problem with NJT is that it was a round trip ticket. So if you traveled peak in one direction and off-peak in the other, you paid a step-up and got no discount at all. It also lead to altercations of trying to use a ticket in the wrong direction. NJT's ossified mgmt was opposed to one-way off-peaks as well. |
