Certainly!! The (7) probably would be vunerable were it not for the way the west side is sloped.

What I now think needs to be looked at is the possibility of renovating the old loop station and if possible extending it so full, 10-car trains can use it. As it is, I believe you actually could fit seven cars into old SF if you did it right, so such an extension might actually only be needed to be around 160-180' as opposed to the 250' or so it might be otherwise (anyone with the actual dimensions please feel free to correct me on this).

It may be cheaper to simply re-do and expand the old station that try to rebuild the new one.

Then there is the matter of the old inner station. With tbe new technology trains coming in the years ahead and that station actually able to handle full 10-car trains I believe, perhaps that station could be re-opened since I'm sure the newer cars as they come onto the subways could be programmed to ONLY open the center doors at the inner SF station if that station got revived in the future. While I have never thought of bringing back the inner loop station previously, it could be feasible to do so down the road if NTT cars that are coming can be programmed to automatically only open the center doors at the inner SF loop station.
