As I understand it, they are supposedly building a food stand where the entrance to old SF was, so this could be moot (though I do think there is going to be political pressure to re-open the old loop station if the current SF is going to be out of commission for 2-3 years as some suggest and have whatever stand that is supposed to take that space moved elsewhere). That said, the irony is, in a few years with NTT trains coming since those likely could be programmed to automatically open just the center doors at the old SF inner loop station, that station could perhaps be reopened down the road if it became necessary since that might be easier to be made ADA-compliant.
