One can see early on the problems that are going to rise from these links.. A way we can solve the CO-OP CITY issue is to use the original SAS option..building the line alongside the Amtrak row now. it will be cheaper than tunneling..stations could be provided as a semi-shuttle service at least to 138th st..for transfer to the 6,until the art of the SAS PHASE 2 SECTION IS COMPLETED to joint the two sections. a bridge could be built over the Harlem river instead of a tunnel to keep cost down.. |
