Little ol' me, yours truly, has become fully qualified on the Hell Gate Line, between CP 216 (SHELL, New Rochelle) and Penn Station as of 1430 hours yesterday afternoon. I am very much happy to now be able to be apart of running NJT trains to Penn for the upcoming football season and to hopefully be a part of testing M-8s between CP 216 and NYP (well to Harold in Queens, whenever the 3rd rail is extended up to Gate), whenever the time for that comes.

My head still aches from all the info I crammed in, as me, a second conductor plus 2 MNR engineers, did this all in a total 6 day crash course as opposed to the several week course the training was initially. While I just died to have a chance to snap photos from my phone when we toured and walked the station and yards around NYP, sorry had to keep her powered off, so I had to keep the rail nut bug caged up!!! :-D

So folks, when the time comes for me to be conductor on my first NJT run, my friends here, including Mr. Feldman, NETO, Railman, Danny at 103rd, 5301Fishbowl (especially Fish if I get MLVs.....show Fish how it's done!! :-D) and all others here will get an invite to come along (they give us 3 days advance notice if we, the conductors, trainmen and engineers, line up for the run, usually on Thursday we get notification). I will be happy to have you along (do bring cameras if you like!! :-D)

Look forward to running the NJT trains and having good people along for the ride!! :-)
