All:After a lot of digging around, it was discovered that through July 31, 2012 some 60 ("6-0") R-44's have been removed from NYCT property. Have car numbers but not the corresponding dates as yet. Still working on it. One "A-B" set is stationed at Coney Island as a "Derailment Training Unit." This is 5244-5245. Perhaps they will survive. A general question: As we write these dispositions up for the "Bulletin" in the coming months, is there a preference for both OLD AND NEW numbers or is that too much clutter?
