Yeah and supposed they arent single?FWIW, one could make a similar statement about a lot of other jobs in that pay range, and the difference that the income has whether one is single or married or single with children and living with parents, and it's something that I've seen first hand at my employer. Mind you, I'd feel a bit more sympathy for somebody earning $11/hr (like some of my co-workers) around New York versus somebody earning $25. I'll quickly note that I'm biased as I'm single and unlikely to get married, and the weird hours that sometimes come with transit are a benefit to lonely people who like to sleep late. |
