I asked you can a new C/R afford a Europe Vacation with a wife and kids..You came with everything else but the answer.. You could have looked up a airline fare and said well here you didnt so that.. The airfare to lets say London Alone for a family of four is 2800.00(thats not including taxes),I wont get into the rest.. I'm not saying that everybody who works late shifts are lonely single people, but hell, if you're a loner, then being a train operator isn't a half-bad position. Hell, it's even better at the OPTO systems where you get a full cab and no conductor to work with... Its your opinion and as i said its not the norm.. |
