It's worth noting SEPTA will retain a full fleet of Silverliners after their ancient examples are retired. They're even adding new Silverliners which are a lot more railfan friendly than the units they replace.That, and some documents refer to the PATCO cars as 'Silverliners', and they're not really going anywhere. |
