I have operated trains of "Modified" R-44s that hit 48 MPH on the "Flats" hitting that speed just before the Broad Channel Station.The R-46s by comparison just do not operate as fast,toppping out at 43-44 MPH,and that is if you have a good train.The R-44s were a faster train. |
