The cars are going through SMS right now, and if this had been considered ahead of time, this could have been done concurrently. We're talking about 222 cars. How long you figure it takes to do each one? How labor intensive is it to switch the A/C fleets, plus move equipment to and from Jamaica and ENY yards each spring/summer?And, even IF you couldn't do that, because applying decals to 222 cars is just prohibitvely expensive, leave the roll signs unchanged. People will still know that the M is going between 71st and Metropolitan. |
