A truck with clasp brakes and 2 motors that would work on an R-12 would work on any other contract using clasp brakes if you mount the tripcock on the correct side. "We" did not discover the over-age trucks. Someone else either knew or suspected and the shops with R-32s were asked to survey their fleets. I was actually surprised at the number of 1951 - 1955 trucks that I had on my fleet. |
