The transfer at LIC sucks, yes, but the main ridership is people wanting the East Side, that traffic will be by and large gone once ESA opens, so that 3-5000 will be just a trickle. LIC can handle that small trickle, and the diesels have to go there anyway to lay up, HPA will be history.
