If Diesel territory riders are still going to the west side of 42nd st, people may stay on them to HPA and transfer to the 7, instead of switching to an electric at Jamaica and then to another train at GC. OTOH, if the mainline gets packed with electrics, Diesels may have to use lower Montauk. |
