The "new york" in the name NY Giants or Jets refers to the CITY not the state! East rutherford is just as much in the NYC Metro area as lets say Babylon is. In fact its a hell of a lot closer to the city. Its the New York CITY giants or jets....the state of ny has nothing to do with the name. |
