The Buffalo Bills represent the CITY of Buffalo, not the STATE of New York. That's why they're not the New York Bills. The Jets and Giants are the NEW YORK CITY GIANTS and NEW YORK CITY JETS.Why the fuck do we have to go through this all the time? Our state boundaries are arbitrary and stupid. The New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins all play closer to New York than the Buffalo Bills. Yet because some idiot 200 years ago decided that the borders of states should go a certain way instead of a certain other way, you are a fan of a team that plays nearly 400 miles away. |
