And They are the BUFFALO Bills, not the New York [State] Bills. The Bills play in Orchard Park, which is not in the City of Buffalo. In fact it's further away from the City than the Jets and Giants are.The New York in the Jets and Giants has nothing to do with the State of New York either, it is in reference to the CITY of New York. It just so happens that the Metro area of the City of New York, straddles the border of the state, and it just so happens the City has the same name as the State. If New York City was never changed from it's original name of New Amsterdam, it would be the New Amsterdam Giants or Jets. For the 1000th time, the NY in the name has absolutely nothing to do with the State of New York. |
