I apologize to the NYC subway for all the years of unfair criticism. I finally had a chance to watch the full video. The people of London are just as ghetto (if not more) than the people of NYC. I thought of London as this pristine, royal European city, but nothing can be further than the truth. In the video, I've seen drunk and rowdy passengers, a guy pissing at the end of the platform, several people vomiting, and falling asleep and ending up at the last stop. But the worst incident was a stabbing (yes, stabbing) that occurred at the 35 minute mark. I didn't think things like that happened in London. And Chris and Luch, both the victim and perp were white.I still want to visit London, but I can no longer honestly say that this is a better system than the NYC subway. On weekends, they shut down 25% of the system. And it seems like almost everyone in the UK has messed up teeth. |
