Posted by rocketdriver2019 on Fri Jan 27 15:55:56 2012 After 37 years of faithful service, the last Hawker-Siddeley "H4" class subway train made it's final run during this morning's rush hour on the Bloor-Danforth subway line. Known for their cushy seats, "eyebrows" around the marker lights, and the low sigh of their brakes, these trains have served Torontonians well for almost four decades and will never be forgotten.For those keeping records, the consist of the final run was EAST-5610-5611-5651-5650-5622-5623-WEST, on run 264. Farewell, old friends...
