For what the MTA is going to spend on this and what they already spent a number of years ago, they could have easily built a would-be-most-welcome surface streetcar lines all the way to downtown Brooklyn, the Dumbo area and Red Hook. Instead, they just replicated what has existed for decades, with no actual improvement in anything. |
