Haven't we been over this? Now what you are saying is not what you said originally, "I still say an electronic slot has no such mechanical compnents". Well duh, who said they did?
And the slots with reels are just as electronic as any of the screen games in the way they work and pay out. Everything about the wheels is electronic, from when they start spinning to when they stop. You press an electronic button which sends an electronic message to the computer to begin spinning the reels to a predetermined result in the computer which then tells the wheels electronically to stop. An electronic message then calculates your win or loss, and electronically changes your credit amount. When you are done, you press another button which electronically tells the computer you are ready to cash out, and it electronically prints a slip out for whatever credit you have left in your electronic money amount. It makes an electronic sound of coins falling as it prints your electronic slip out with the dollar amount printed on it.
No levers, no mechanics, no change clanking out, none of it. An modern slot with reels is just as electronic as the ones with screens, only difference is it has reels that spin electronically rather than a screen.
You are NO more likely to "win" with an electronic slot with spinning reels than with an electronic slot with a screen, both have the same computer telling them what the predetermined payout will be every time someone presses the button.
