Prior to 1967 QB/QT trains ran from Astoria to Coney Island and the Q ran from 57th St to Brighton Beach. After the "Crime of 1967" (ie the opening of Christie Street) the venerable T, QB and QT services were replaced by the putrid RR and IND services such as the B and D infested BMT tracks! |
