Given that the BMT switched from numbers to letters on the Southern Division in 1960, I wonder what the M-F BMT 60th Street-QB service was called for the five years previous. Without doing the necessary research, I recall the 4th Avenue/Bay Ridge local providing this service until Christie- exactly as today's R does. The pre-1960 designation was the BMT #2, right?

Or was there ever a period before Christie when the BMT QB service operated through to the Brighton Line? There used to be a guide somewhere on the Internet that showed all the various service patterns through history. But now I can't find it. :-(
