Does anyone know at what point the inter-division IND/BMT transfer at 34th Street was created? I am wondering if it was there from the beginning, since the city had already taken over the BMT lines earlier in 1940, and given the construction complexity, it would have been much easier to have the transfer.On or about July 1, 1948 when the fare was raised from five cents to ten cents.
