I do believe he will take his place at the bar of history alongside other great Democrats, like FDR, JFK, and HST. Ever notice how it;'s the Democrats that save the world?FDR and HST saved the world from enslavement by the Axis powers. JFK saved the world from becoming a radioactive ashtray during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Barack Obama (so far) has saved the world from the further terroristic depredations of evil men like Osama Bin Laden. |

Really?FDR and HST not only led the United States through WWII, they made it possible, through Lend-Lease, for our other major allies--the UK, France, and the USSR, to hold off defeat by Germany. WWII in 1940-41 was a much nearer thing than any of the victors ever admit, to this day. Only the leadership of these two Presidents kept the world from being plunged into the eternal night of slavery and genocide under the jackboots of the Axis. JFK's cool, unflinching handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis, with some skilled backchannel diplomacy, unquestionably saved the world from a nuclear war that very likely would have rendered humanity a minor, or extinct, species on this planet. His refusal to let the situation escalate, even as both sides began actually shooting at each other late in the crisis, is the reason almost everyone (who is still alive) born after October 1962, is alive today. I shudder to think what would have happened had Nixon been President in 1962, instead of JFK, given what we now know about his gross inability to handle the power of the office. As for President Obama, you can best believe Osama Bin Laden was plotting and planning against us right up until the moment the SEALs burst into his bedroom. He and Al-Qaeda represented the greatest threat to the life and safety of the average person anywhere on the planet, that has EVER been posed by a terrorist group at any time in history. Besides the 9/11, London, and Madrid attacks, there is ample evidence to suggest OBL and company were looking for any way they could to buy, build, or steal weapons of mass destruction, including "dirty nukes". Imagine for a moment that the attempted car bombing in Times Square was a dirty, or, worse, a "baby" nuke. Bin Laden hoped for this, and we are immeasurably safer in the world without him. |

You are forgetting all the Democrats that left horrors in their wake. Carter, and the list goes on and Obama a huge problem too. JFK is only seen as a "savior" because he was cut off in his prime. His presidenncy caused a lot of the crap we have no, but is only looked at as great because he was unfortunately martyred.FDR is far from a savior too, as much of his policy we are still paying for today. |

We are paying for the REPEAL of FDR policies like Glass-Steagall, and what "horrors", exactly, did Jimmy Carter leave "in his wake"?JFK, had he lived, would have signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964--it was his legislation--and would likely have dome most, if not all, of LBJ's Great Society reforms. Kennedy jump-started our space program, getting the money out of Congress for Projects Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo, whose technological advances we benefit from to this day. As for Obama, he has successfully passed more legislation--even with a hostile United States Congress--than any President since LBJ, is the only President since LBJ to reform the healthcare system, and the first President since FDR to put significant curbs on our nearly-unsupervised banking system. He's also brought us out of one of the most costly and unnecessary wars our country has ever become involved with--Iraq. Some "horror stories"...SMH! |

"Passing Legislation" is not the sign of a "great president", contrary to your leftist ideals that thing we need more legislation, not less. He's also brought us out of one of the most costly and unnecessary wars our country has ever become involved with--Iraq. LOL! More twisting. The war in Iraq was done during Bush, and only happened after the surge, the same surge Mr Obama did not approve of when in congress. Some "horror stories"...SMH! Again, in your letist twisted ideal of course. |

The whole mess of a healthcare law.The war in Iraq was predicated upon lies, and Obama got us out of that quandary. Disagreed, but that wasn't what you said, you changed the topic. The war in Iraq was already won during the Bush administration's end. And after the surge that was approved, but Mr Obama was against. If Mr Obama had his way, the surge would not have happened. It's not my "leftist twisted ideal", it's REALITY. It's NOT reality, it's "reality", your leftist ideal of how things should be. Once again, believing only your position is correct, and the "only" position that can be correct. Many beg to differ with your positions. |

That "whole mess" of a healthcare law is what will keep you alive when your insurer says "no". God forbid you are bedridden in the ER with crushing substernal chest pains, when someone from Billing appears at your bedside asking for $250K, or they won't give you a bypass. Healthcare reform put a stop to that kind of bloody business practice.Oh, and by the way, that "messy" healthcare law is based on Mitt Romney's model. |

I haven't heard one servicemember tell me that we won anything there. Your definition of victory must be different than theirs. He promised to reduce debt, but he will leave in 2016 with more debt than anyone could have imagined. He won't reduce unemployment, and his second term won't be better than his first, so don't expect the economy or unemployment to budge. It will probably get worse. And then there's crime and unemployment in the black community. It seems like the shootings have only increased under Obama. But it's not his fault because he's black(both sides of family now black you know). If the black community was in the position it's in today under a white President, well you know what the commentary would be. |

The MSM polls are gradually increasing the Democrats polled in their samples to maintain the appearance of an Obama lead. The problem with this is that in October, pollsters begin to look at their reputations for accuracy and they cease doing propaganda polls. So that pro-Romney "momentum" that will appear in the autumn will actually not be momentum, but an accurate representation of the electorate since June. |

Excepting that by then his "rolling stone" will be growing moss.He has not articulated an economic policy plan. That's because his plans his plans include the Medicare ending, Social Security eviscerating Ryan "budget". Can't run on that. He has proven to be a failure at foreign policy. People are catching on that being a profit-driven business success does not make one fit to run a government. As they learn the facts about vulture capitalists, and how they will just as readily slash and burn anything that's unprofitable....face it, government is NOT supposed to be profitable.....than build, they will reject his premise for running in the first place. The House has once again started up with their War on Women.....which will be back as policies are discussed in earnest come fall. |

There are so few undecideds it's not funny. The only thing that will change the results are events. If the economy improves, which it likely will (as the EU settles into resolving their problems) however incrementally, the President will win. If the economy stagnates the President will win. The ACA checks are going out. People will favor ACA if they get one,or a partial rebate from their employer. The President will win. If employers wan to be Bainy about it and keep the money, the President will win on the basis of the association between Willard and profit. |
