We are paying for the REPEAL of FDR policies like Glass-Steagall, and what "horrors", exactly, did Jimmy Carter leave "in his wake"?JFK, had he lived, would have signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964--it was his legislation--and would likely have dome most, if not all, of LBJ's Great Society reforms. Kennedy jump-started our space program, getting the money out of Congress for Projects Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo, whose technological advances we benefit from to this day. As for Obama, he has successfully passed more legislation--even with a hostile United States Congress--than any President since LBJ, is the only President since LBJ to reform the healthcare system, and the first President since FDR to put significant curbs on our nearly-unsupervised banking system. He's also brought us out of one of the most costly and unnecessary wars our country has ever become involved with--Iraq. Some "horror stories"...SMH! |
