Making high school drivers ed mandatory is also one way of allowing more strict licensing requirements for drivers without creating a non-licensed underclass.As for guns, given that guns are here to stay, gun education would ensure that everyone has the proper awe and respect for them, so you don't have people who see using guns in self-defense as "fun"* even if they never again fire a weapon in their life. *That doesn't mean that one can't have fun with guns. |

The investigator who filed it wanted George Zimmerman charged with manslaughter, or at the least, negligent homicide, but he was overruled, and Zimmerman was set free.There are inconsistencies with the witness statements, Zimmerman's version of events, and the initial police report. The cop who wrote this report had enough doubts about Zimmerman's story to suggest manslaughter, although I wonder where the "killing to prevent unlawful act" part comes from. Trayvon Martin was guilty of only one thing: walking while Black in the South. |
