I hope, and pray, that Gingrich gets nominated, so Obama can be re-elected. How quickly we forget what a character Newt is. He shut down the federal government because he had to use the rear boarding ramp of Air Force One instead of the front stairs.Of course, the Hypocrite Wing of the GOP loves ol' Newt, despite the fact that he left Washington a hated man on both sides of the aisle... |

Any awful lot of Presidents have cheated on their wives, and in office. A lot of them are well-regarded: FDR (notwithstanding he was in a wheelchair), Eisenhower, JFK, Clinton. The "dotcom crash" was a blip compared to the rest of the economy. most of the companies that vanished then do so deservedly, and the rest of the economy, had it been left stable, would have created jobs to fill in a small gap. The only losers were the investors there. That's called RISK. If one is to be so foolish as to not research a company prior to investing (such as a retailer with no inventory, warehouse and delivery logisitics [pets.com]) they deserve to lose their money.Turns out Binladen owned that factory after all. Losing it delivered a blow to his finances. Not to mention that fact that we aren't an Islamist state, but without vigilance we'll become a BAC version of the same. |
