If someone is willing to deceive his wife, do you trust him not to deceive the voters?1) I don't trust ANY politician to not deceive the voters; and 2) politically, very few people REALLY care, except as a talking point against their enemies. Any awful lot of Presidents have cheated on their wives, and in office. A lot of them are well-regarded: FDR (notwithstanding he was in a wheelchair), Eisenhower, JFK, Clinton. And those are only the modern ones we know for sure. |
