Some will argue that blacks are being practical and class conscious and rather pessimistic about their position vis à vis the rest of American society.Well of course, things like welfare, affirmative action, disparate impact and the like are useful to Blacks. Why support a party that opposes such things? For whatever reason (though there are some hypotheses), liberals, unlike most human groups in the world, are less apt to be group conscious and look out for their own interests. Ultimately for the human species this is a good thing, but it explains the massive conflict in American politics, against those who want to spread spoils of civilization to everyone (liberals) and those who want to look out for the good of their own group (White Republicans). |

The White kids thrown in were the "token" White kids to make it not so obvious that the problem that they're getting at is about race.As well, the low test score (read: low IQ) problem isn't limited to people of color in America. Whether they want to admit it or not, considering that the average of IQ of Central and Southern Appalachians appears to be only around 93, this means that Rednecks, really, are in much the same boat as Mexicans... |

As AEM explained, since the disparity between the races is caused primarily from genetic differences, policies like affirmative action and welfare are useful to Blacks. Republicans would give Blacks none of these things. How much better, for example, are cities like New Orleans or Baton Rouge (in a Red state) compared to Baltimore or Detroit (in Blue states)? |

I agree it might SOUND like he said black, because he meant to say something and corrected himself midway, leading to the indecipherable utterance. I can also believe that bigoted liberal media types THOUGHT he may have said black and ran with story because, hey it's Rick Santorum, a crazy racist right wing Republican. This is the insidious nature of the liberal MSM. It's controlled by groupthink and few conservatives exist to say "hey, wait a minute, he didn't really say black, maybe we better not claim he did". |

Dude..understand something here. This is a lame attempt to "get our goat up" by the opposition, and I do mean "opposition".. It brings into question one so called loyalty, ones sense of self..and worst of all ones intelligence. Not only is it framed to be an insult..but in the same manor it an out and out in your face attempt to make a play on our sensibilities..that we are non thinkers..followers..cant make choices of our own. It is also framed as bait..to make us react in a inflammatory manor in which they would believe their case COULD be proven. It is INSULTING,Never the less,no matter how it said.Yet..we have our time honored staunch card carrying Republican Party members here who have been true loyalist..but the same criteria DOES NOT APPLY.. The question that needs to be asked is.. Why apply the "DO AS I SAY,NOT AS I DO" routine now..? The reasoning..? Whether they are willing to admit it or not..[and I dont believe they would] is simple enough..They need the Afro/Latino/Jewish whatever votes..and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. This is WHY WE need to look DEEPER into the political arena..find out what these people are all about BEFORE tossing our hats in with them. Do they have our BEST INTREST AT HEART? Do they believe what they are selling? In the coming year..we will see..but in the meantime dont be taken for a ride by the "flapping heads with beady eyes"... |

Chris and Ologia and you can bet TD will all deny he said it and that this is all some "libural" plot to destroy Santorum. |
