I don't know if rare is the right word, but certainly most restaurants don't have dim sum except maybe on weekends. It's very labor intensive and you have to pay a little more. So then why do you continuously toe the republican line? This is a big part o fit too. Just look at what they're up to.....no one it mentioned during the campaign. Instead of creating jobs they're oppressing women. Instead of balancing the budget, they're union busting. They campaigned on none of this (since they knew they'd lose if they did) yet here we are, in their second month of their terms and they're done nothing but attempt to harm the sick (overturning HCR with no alternative even proposed much less passed in the House), and as I said above, busting public employee unions (which came about for a reason, same as any) unions, oppress women through removing access to contraceptives, eliminating abortion coverage *even in private insurance*, seeking to ban abortion despite most states having statutes that predated Roe on their books. This is what the republican agenda actually *is*. |

I don't believe something is a human being at conception, hence I support Roe v Wade. A fetus at viability can be rationally considered a human being and Roe v Wade enshrines that thinking. You and TD said something to the effect that a 1-2 month fetus is a human being, yet you don't care that millions are being massacred because you "don't want to impose your values on others". That's a dangerous and morally bankrupt cop-out. Everyday normal Germans said the same thing during the Holocaust as did countless otherwise decent Southerners during the lynchings era. They will never live it down. |

Although I agree that handouts are not the best thing, it's better than being left to twist in the wind, homeless with a malnourished child unable to work (lacking access to daycare and sick care when needed) and likely ill (disease hits the weakened) with no means to access medical care. Many of the proposed budget cuts will put Americans into this predicament. |

I think that the Chinese restaurants are owned by Chinese but since they don't have Chinese customers the food is catered to American tastes. They are essentially low budget Panda Express knockoffs. We do have Korean people that live here, but we don't have any Korean restaurants.The Asian group that we have the most of is Filipino. But they don't consider themselves Asian from what I understand. It's so confusing! |
