Don't forget, the Wisconsin unions made financial concessions to the state during the discussion of this. It's the allowance of people to opt out of union membership they're fighting. I would have perhaps had a little more respect if they were out front protesting or refusing to enter the building in front, and actually arguing to make their point. But to leave the state? Imagine the Republicans had done that when the Health care thing or the other Democrat legislation was putting forth when they were in the minority in Washington, and they all left DC. I can imagine the Leftist rants about that if they had pulled such a childish act because they didn't get their way.That at least was Democracy in action, they were in the minority, but did their job and voted "no" if that's how they felt. This Wisconsin fiasco didn't show they were "working and fighting" it showed they are cowards and went to pout in another state hiding in various hotels. |
